Before you can use the product, you'll need to configure it. Here are the steps to follow:

Unpacking the device

• Remove the Ledger Stax™ from its packaging.

• Make sure all accessories (USB-C cable, quick start guide, recovery card) are present.

Charging the device

• Connect the Ledger Stax™ to a power source via the USB-C cable to fully charge it before first use.

Switching on and configuration

• Switch on the device by pressing the power button.

• Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your device. You'll need to choose a secure PIN code.

• Make a careful note of the 24-word recovery phrase provided during initial configuration. This phrase is essential for recovering your assets if the device is lost or stolen.

Can someone steal my cryptocurrencies?
You need the PIN code to access the Ledger Stax™ so even if someone else had access, without this code they won't be able to do anything,
Please note that 3 wrong PIN codes lead to an automatic reset of the Ledger Stax™.
What happens if I lose my Ledger Stax™?
As long as you keep the recovery phrase, you'll be able to recover your cryptocurrencies, even if you lose your Ledger Stax™. All you have to do is restore your accounts on another Ledger Stax™.
